PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device which can be miniaturized, and an image forming device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: A sheet S discharged from a discharging means 15 is supported by a first supporting means 17 to support one end part of the sheet S and a second supporting means 20. On the other hand, the second supporting means 20 is extended below the first supporting means 17. After the sheet S discharged from the discharging means 15 is supported by the first and second supporting means 17, 20, the first supporting means 17 is moved to a sheet non-supporting position from a sheet supporting position by a moving means so as to support one end part of the sheet S by the extended part 20e of the supporting means 20. Thereby, a space for the first supporting means 17 to occupy in a carrying direction is reduced.
