<p>A rinse cycle fabric softener concentrate consisting essentially of a blend of 1-50 weight % of at least one monoalkyl polyquat having the formula: <CHEM> wherein R is a C10-24 alkyl, an ether having the formula ROR1- where R is as defined above and R1 is equal to a C1-6 hydrocarbyl group, or an amido having the formula RC(O)NR2-, where R is as defined above and R2 is a C2-6. alkyl; R' is a C2-12 alkyl; x is 0-5; n is the number of moles of monovalent anion A to provide a net zero charge; and A is a monovalent anion; and 50-99 weight % of a cationic fabric softener agent, said agent being selected from the group consisting of ester-containing quaternary ammonium compounds, amido amine quaternary ammonium compounds, imidazoline quats and mixtures and salts thereof.</p> |
