摘要 The cavities for receiving the catch in the locking device (13) are formed in a bearing ring (23) providing rear axial support for the clamping ring (11). The bearing and clamping ring are combined as a single, uninterrupted piece with an external diameter corresponding to the internal diameter of the front axial section (4) of the chuck body (1). The clamping ring is supported by an intermediate ring (18), which is in turn supported by a clamping sleeve (12). An axial snap-fit joint is formed between the front of the clamping sleeve and the chuck body. The chuck body has a spindle-receiving cavity (3) in its rear axial section (2), and a work tool-receiving cavity in its front axial section. Guide bores (7) for the clamping jaws (8) extend at an angle to the chuck axis (6). The jaw teeth (10) engage with threading on the clamping ring, to which an intermediate ring is secured. A clamping sleeve rotatable relative to the intermediate ring is used to fix the clamping ring in position. A locking device fixes the clamping sleeve relative to the chuck body, and comprises a ring of cavities for receiving a sliding catch.
