The device for fixing an intraoccular lens takes the form of a ring shaped clip (10) which - when set into the sulcus - serves as a base for a haptic of the intraoccular lens. The clip is formed of an elastic filament, and has two ends (12, 14) which are located on the circumference of the clip and have a gap between them.
