The invention relates to a seal array (14) having a housing gap between two components (15, 16) and a seal (1) consisting of two seal components (2, 3) connected to one another, a first extrusion-resistant, deformable seal component (2) and a second, higher deformable seal component (3). The first seal component (2) has a bearing surface (6) facing the sealing surface (17) of the component (15) and a contact surface (9) for resting on the other component (16). The second seal component (3) rests on the first seal component (2) and has an edge (4) projecting above the bearing surface (6). The first sealing component (2) can be pressed down on the sealing surfaces (17; 18) of the components (15, 16; 30, 31) by the system pressure to close the housing gap. The second seal component (3) is sealingly pressed down on the bearing surfaces (17, 18). Effective high-pressure sealing can be achieved for common rail injectors or similar systems with this simply built seal array (14).
