PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which the perfluorocarbons can efficiently be recovered from a exhaust gas containing the perfluorocarbons, a method for decomposing the perfluorocarbons with a high energy efficiency and then reducing the load of decomposition apparatus, and to provide a method for recovering decomposing the perfluorocarbons in which a exhaust gas treating can be achieved in a simple construction. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas containing the perfluorocarbons having double bonds is brought into contact with an absorbent to absorb the perfluorocarbons on the adsorbent. Thereby, the perfluorocarbons are separated from the exhaust gas and then desorbed from the adsorbent to carry out the recovery or decomposition. A movable adsorbing cylinder can be also used to carry out the recovery or decomposition in an apparatus separating from the exhaust gas treating line. |
