PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous film excellent in moisture permeability, shielding performance and flexibility. SOLUTION: This porous film is obtained by melt molding of a composition comprising a polyolefin resin, a filler and a 3rd component into a film followed by making an orientation treatment of the film; wherein the 3rd component is characterized by being a mixture of (1) a hardened castor oil and (2) an ester of a <=3C polyhydric alcohol and a carboxylic acid containing >=50 mol% of a >=8C carboxylic acid having no double bond or one double bond in the molecule and no hydroxyl group.
