PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating material for food delivery and a container for food delivery, capable of holding a temperature of delivery foods in a favorable condition by imparting heat storage properties to the heat insulating material for food delivery to make it have a temperature regulating function. SOLUTION: The heat insulating material for food delivery employs a foamed material in which particles having heat storage properties are dispersed. The container for food delivery is formed by providing this heat insulating material for food delivery on an inner face thereof.
