PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body and its molding method capable of easily molding the vehicle body having a simple structure, good precision, and a good external appearance at a low cost, reducing the molding cost, and improving rigidity. SOLUTION: In this molding method for the vehicle body, a rough shape W is molded from a plate so that a portion for a roof panel R and portions for both side members S are adjacently connected via pad absorption sections P. The adjacent roof panel R and both side members S are continuously and integrally molded by bending the rough shape from the pad absorption sections P so that the pads of the rough shape W formed when edge sections at the boundaries between the roof panel R and the side members S are molded into a curve shape are absorbed by the pad absorption sections P.
