MICROPROCESSOR CONTROLLER FOR AUTOMATIC DOORS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING

The microprocessor controller and the method of controlling can be applied as a component in the system of automatic doors. By them reliable and safe operation during assembly works, operation and servicing of the asutomatic doors is achieved. In the testing and monitoring modes, in accordance with the method, optimum parameters are selected for movement in function of the linear length and the weight of the door, after which the assembled and trouble-free external device are identified. The control board (3) enables the operation in dialogue mode and taking out service messages as a text. The input signals of the optical receivers enter directly the amplifiers (2.1) after digital filtering in the single-chip processor (2.3). The input signals of the radar sensors, the emergency button for opening the door and the identification card are multplexed by unit (2.2). The signals from the feedback for positioning are from an external photoconverter and are read by the microprocessor (2.3). The output SHIM signals are formed by the microprocessor (2.3) as a result of the data arriving from the peripheral sensors. The output buffer (2.4) contains its own power bridge switch for feeding the electric motor driving the door. The current protection (2.5) registers any overloads in the electric motor and switches it off in case of exceeding the rated current. The supply unit (2.6) forms supply voltages for the microprocessor control units and for any joining peripheral elements and sensors. To ensure the operation of the door in case of mains supply failure a reserve storage battery is included which is charged and controlled by unit (2.7).
