PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-seal-type packaging apparatus which can thermally weld a stretch wrap film with a flange of a tray without preparing a mold for each of trays different in size. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus 1 comprises an apparatus for covering an opening of the tray T with an upper portion opened with the stretch wrap film Fm and welding the stretch wrap film Fm with the flange of the tray T, and includes a sealer 3 and a heater 31 for heating the sealer 3. The sealer 3 comes into contact with the flange of the tray T from above the film Fm. The sealer 3 is formed with an internal space 30 of an approximately rectangular pyramid shape with a lower portion opened. |
