PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary display device for a car navigation device, capable of reducing the movement of driver's eyes to an image monitor during route guidance of the car navigation device and providing amusement to a driver and a fellow passenger and conforming them by being attached ahead of a driver's seat. SOLUTION: This auxiliary display device 1A for a car navigation device is composed of a route guidance member 2 such as a short turtle having the tip part 21 capable of expressing and displaying the traveling direction, a rotational driving part 32 capable of rotationally driving the direction of the route guidance member 2, a control part 31 capable of controlling the rotation of the rotational driving part 32, a communication part 33 for transmitting instructions from a car navigation device 5 to the control part 31, and an audio output part (a speaker 35) capable of outputting a part of the instructions from the car navigation device 5 in the form of sound. |
