PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a polytrimethylene terephthalate-based polyester combined filament yarn having stretchability, softness and bulkiness without causing fuzzes and end breakages. SOLUTION: In producing a combined filament yarn by using two kinds of multifilaments obtained by spinning a polytrimethylene terephthalate-based polyester from a single spinneret or different spinnerets by different spinning drafts, the spinning draft at the high draft side is 5,000-200,000 and a spinning draft difference between the high draft side and the low draft side is >=1,000.
