PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new caspase inhibitor useful as a both a prophylactics and remedy for disease in which caspase participates, especially effective on generalized inflammatory disease or the like. SOLUTION: This caspase inhibitor comprises a compound having PGE1(prostaglandin E1) activity as an active component. The caspase inhibitor may comprise a compound having a character that the compound is incorporated in a cell through a PGT(prostaglandin transporter) as the active component.
