PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive whiplash preventing structure for vehicular seat. SOLUTION: A skeleton of a back rest 2 comprises a main frame 10 and an upper frame 20 mounted rotatably in front and backward directions on an upper part of the main frame 10. The upper frame 20 is impelled to be rotated forward by a torsion spring 17 (an energizing member). A head rest 3 positioned above the upper frame 20 is fixed via supports 30. Oblong holes 25 extending in front and backaward directions are formed on the upper frame 20 to have the supports 30 inserted in the oblong holes 25.
