PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a passenger car capable of improving a wet braking performance and a toe and heel wear performance while keeping the steering stability and the draining ability of the tire. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire for the passenger car has plural slanting main grooves 2, 3 extending from the vicinity of a tire equator EQ at almost symmetrical slanting angles to the tire equator EQ to a tread end so as to widen a rotating last landing side; and 1-4 circumferential grooves 6 communicating with the slanting main grooves 2, 3 and extending in the circumferential direction, on a tread surface 1 having rotating direction assignment, and an angleαbetween the wall surface on a rotating first landing side of a land part L divided by the slanting main grooves 2, 3 and a tread normal and an angleβbetween the wall on the rotating last landing side and the tread normal satisfy the relation of 5 deg.<=α<=25 deg. and -20 deg.<=β<=0 deg. (wherein, a negative angle shows that the wall surface in the land is inclined inward). |
