PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot-water supply apparatus adaptable to a troubleshooting conducted by a troubleshooting support device and attain an early detection of a failure and its prompt repairing. SOLUTION: The hot-water supply apparatus 1 is provided with a sensor 23 for sensing temperature of a storage water-heater body, and a memory 31 for storing the temperature detected by a sensor 23. Data on the process of increasing temperature of the water-heater body following the ignition of a burner 11 is stored in the memory 31. Thereafter the same data is stored in a use time of the device 1, and the data is compared with data at an initial operation time. When functional reduction in the water heater 14 is recognized in the comparison, the data is stored in the memory 31 for utilization in the troubleshooting support device.
