PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus eliminating the necessity of additional operations by increasing the efficiency of excavating a place where concrete is placed. SOLUTION: The method of placing the micropiles into soft ground from the surface of the ground comprises: separably interconnecting the micropiles by means of a placement tool at a position corresponding to a length equal to a predetermined insertion depth minus the thickness of concrete to be placed; inserting the micropiles to a predetermined depth; removing the placement tool excavating a space where the placement tool removed does not exist; and placing concrete in the space. The apparatus for placing the micropiles in placing a concrete foundation on soft ground includes a cylindrical placement tool body for driving into each micropile. A hooked hole is bored in the lower end of the body and a projecting element is provided which locks into the hooked hole of the placement tool body inserted in the micropile. After the placement, the placement tool body is inverted and removed from the micropile.
