PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of an ingot for manufacturing an Fe-Ni base alloy material for a shadow mask, or the like, by which the cost can be reduced without lowering the quality concerning etching unevenness. SOLUTION: In the producing method of the ingot for manufacturing Fe-Ni base alloy material containing a specified quantity of Ni to be applied with etching treatment, the molten metal which is applied with deoxidize-refining containing Ar-blowing by a vacuum induction heating refining method, is cast to make the ingot. Before completing the blowing, a deoxidizing agent is preferably added at 0.1 kg/ton of molten metal in terms of Al.
