PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain granular coated sodium percarbonate having excellent solubility in water, especially not causing solidification during transportation and preservation, having excellent stability, useful as a bleaching agent in a detergent composition contained in a zeolite builder, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The surface of sodium percarbonate is provided with an inner skin layer as a coating material of a specific composition containing an alkali metal silicate and the inner skin layer is provided with an outer skin layer as a coating material of the other composition containing an alkali metal sulfate, etc. to form a multilayer coating film.
