PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonoriented silicon steel sheet for a high efficiency motor by which, in a stacking stage for a motor core, fixed motor characteristics can stably be obtained whether staggered stacking is performed or not. SOLUTION: As to a ring sample obtained by stacking four sheets respectively having a composition containing, by mass, <=0.0050% C, 1.0 to 4.5% Si, 0.1 to 2.5% Mn and 0.2 to 2.5% Al and punched into a ring shape so as to be rotated in such a manner that the angle to the rolling direction is controlled to 90 deg. per sheet and coiling wire and a ring sample produced similarly so as to be aligned in the rolling direction, in the case magnetic flux density B50 (90 deg.) and B50 (0 deg.) in 5,000 A/m are measured, the relation in the following inequality (1) of |1-B50 (90 deg.)/B50 (0 deg.)|<=0.02 is valid thereamong, also, core loss W15/50 (90 deg.) in 50 MHz, B (90 deg.)=1.5 T satisfies <=3.0 W/kg, and core loss W10/400 (90 deg.) in 400 Hz, B (90 deg.)=1.0 T satisfies <=30 W/kg. |
