摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass ceramic substrate having a high dimensional accuracy by surely restricting sintering shrinkage of a glass ceramic-green sheets. SOLUTION: The method of producing the glass ceramic substrate comprises processes of laminating plural glass ceramic-green sheets, each having a conductive pattern on its surface, to obtain a multilayer body 1, then stacking binding green sheets 2 each of which contains a hardly sinterable inorganic material and glass and which are larger than the multilayer body 1 at least one direction of the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction of the stacked surface of the multilayer body 1 on the both surfaces of the multilayer body 1, removing organic components from the multilayer body 1, firing the multilayer body 1 to obtain the glass ceramic substrate having the binding sheets and finally removing the binding sheets from the substrate. The content of the glass contained in each binding sheet 2 is adjusted to be an amount capable of binding with the glass ceramic-green sheets and substantially restricting shrinkage in the stacked layer surface at the time of firing.
