PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pH measuring apparatus for the contents of a container which permits continuous measurement of even highly viscous contents quickly and stably. SOLUTION: The pH measuring apparatus 1 for the contents of a container for measuring pH of the contents L is provided with a standard electrode 6 and a pH measuring electrode 5 to be inserted into the contents L of the container 16 and measures pH of the contents L based on a potential difference between the standard electrode 6 and the pH measuring electrode 5. The pH measuring electrode 5 comprises a semiconductor and is formed in a shaft. The pH measuring electrode 5 has the other end thereof retained in cantilever so that the tip part 5a thereof as insertion end thereof into the contents L is oscillated. Furthermore, the tip part 5a in the pH measuring electrode 5 is exposed outside. |
