PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a repellent for mosquitoes, having an immediate effect, slightly affecting an environment, not requiring a fire or electricity like a mosquito repelling incense coil and an electric mosquito-killing incense burner, not making the skin poisoned owing to no application to the skin, having safety and remarkably excellent user-friendliness, especially long-term effectiveness. SOLUTION: A porous ceramic is immersed in a liquid insect pest repellent such as a plant extracted essence obtained by grinding 40-70% of persimmon leaves, 10-20% of Fatsia japonica and 10-20% of mugwort, fermenting the ground material with a lactic acid bacterium at 30-40 deg.C and extracting the fermented substance with an alcohol, DEET or the like to give a liquid transpiration insect pest repellent which is convenient to carry and transpires an insect pest repelling component for a long period of time. |
