PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage inspection device and method which enables the accurate inspection of a vessel for leakage in a short time. SOLUTION: An air is fed to inside the vessel 1 via an inspection head 2 and the feeding of the air is stopped, and then the pressure in the vessel 1 inside is measured twice by a pressure sensor 52 with a sealing member 22 pressed against a mouth top face 1a of the vessel 1. The pressure inside the vessel 1 in a balanced state is estimated and calculated based on the pressure inside the vessel 1 measured by the pressure sensor 52.
