PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of component parts forming a hinge device. SOLUTION: A cam member 5 is rigidly connected to one of hinge members 2. A connecting shaft 4 has one end thereof fixed to the other hinge member 3. Further, the connecting shaft 4 has a flange portion on the other end thereof. Then, a coil spring 6 is arranged between the flange portion 41 and a cam plate portion 51 of the cam member 5. Thus, the hinge member 3 is biased, by the coil spring 6, toward the hinge member 2 via the connecting shaft 4 and pressed onto the cam plate 51.
