PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely disassemble a power cord take-up and make the classification of materials easy. SOLUTION: This power cord take-up comprises a case 21 for rotatably storing a reel 14 on which a power cord is taken-up a spiral spring having one end held on the reel 14 and the other end held on a shaft portion 23 provided in the case 21 for energizing the reel 14 in the direction of taking up the power cord 13, a cover 11 for covering the reel 14 and the power cord 13 stored in the case 21, and means for removing the energizing force of the spiral spring 16 so that the shaft portion 23 can be disconnected from the outside of the power cord take-up 20.
