PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bias tire has higher durability in its bead part, by improving separation resistance of the end of a folded part with a slight cost increase. SOLUTION: A carcass comprises a carcass body extending between a pair of bead cores and the folded part extending from the body and winding from the inside to the outside around a bead core, and is adjacent to the outermost ply of the carcass body having the folded part. This bias tire comprises the folded part having a cord array with a gradient direction same as that of this ply cord, and an annular moderate rubber strip over the entire circumference between the inner surface of the end of the folded part and the outer surface of the outermost ply of the carcass body.
