PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet curable adhesive composition excellent in adhesive strength (shear strength) and in curing rate, in particular when an inorganic material such as glass is used as an adherend and capable of providing a cured product having a high hardness. SOLUTION: This ultraviolet curing type adhesive composition comprises an oxetane compound (a compound having an oxetane ring), a coupling agent and photopolymerization initiator and further preferably an alicyclic epoxy compound and a modified silicone oil.
