The shoulder drop comprises a resilient injection moulded plastics base body (1) with large surface vertical section (2). The base body has two spring arms (5,6) set at right angles to the vertical section and each having a contour which runs from the vertical section first into a lower section parallel to the resilient wooden slats and then in a curved section into an upper section also parallel to the slats and then into a further vertical section which is set at a lower distance and parallel to the large surface section and finally into the cylindrical section (7, 8) for holding the caps which support the spring slats.
