The invention relates to a drainage device for dressing wounds requiring a high degree of sterility. The inventive device is provided with drainage tube which is connected to a collecting basin. An underpressure is created in the collecting basin and the drainage tube consists of an end-sided, perforated area and a connecting area which is associated with the collecting basin. The invention is characterized in that the connecting area (B) of the drainage tube (1a, 1b) is provided with a branching element (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) to which a sterile reservoir (5, 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e) can be connected for compensation of the underpressure, for example in the form of a filter device or an air bag.
