PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS receiver, a GPS position measuring method and a storage medium capable of obtaining position measuring information at a time before position can be actually measured startup. SOLUTION: This GPS receiver is so structured that a signal from a GPS satellite is received, range data is storage in a RAM of a position calculation part 4 form the moment that the range data included in the received signal can be obtained, and past position data before the acquisition of an orbit parameter is found by calculating the position based on the orbit parameter and the range data stored in the RAM after the moment that the track parameter can be acquired from the received signal.
