PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating which shows a high adhesion to glass and gives an excellent result in the evaluation of moistureproof property. SOLUTION: The photocurable, moistureproof insulating coating comprises (A) a photocurable terminal acryloxypolybutadiene or terminal methacryloxypolybutadiene having a number average molecular weight of from 300 to 10,000 and a hydrogenation rate of >=90%, (B) a photopolymerization initiator and (C)γ-methacryloxypropyltriethoxysilane. In the preparation process for a moisture-resistant, insulated electronic component, this photocurable, moistureproof insulating coating is applied on an electronic component and cured.
