PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radiation-curing resin composition useful as primary coating material for an optical fiber wherein the Young's modulus is low, further the Young's modulus is not significantly changed even at a low temperature and the water absorption is low. SOLUTION: The liquid radiation-curing resin composition contains: (A) a polyoxyalkylene structure-containing oligomer having an ethylenic ubsaturated group at the end of a molecular chain; (B) a mono (meth)acrylate compound represented by formula (2) (wherein R1 is a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon; R2 is a 2-4C divalent hydrocarbon; R3 is hydrogen atom or methyl group; and (m) is a positive number of 1-10); (C) a mono (meth)acrylate compound represented by formula (2) (wherein R4 is a 2-4C divalent hydrocarbon; R5 is hydrogen atom or methyl group; and (n) is a positive number of 1-10); and (D) a photopolymerization initiator.
