PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable travel in a simple structure, and improve handle operation feeling of a power-assisted carrier. SOLUTION: As a handle 26 is operated to be pulled forward, a drive pin 67 pushes a push-up edge 64 to let an operation rod 22 pulled up, and a rod of a continuously variable transmission is pulled through a connection rod to gradually boost a motor. The drive pin 67 is at a position down for a specified angle (y) from a horizontal line Y passing an axial center of a handle shaft 25 when the handle 26 is at a neutral position, and it is positioned on the horizontal line Y when the handle 26 is pulled toward the operator's side to the maximum. In starting to pull the handle 26, that is in traveling forward at low speed, moving quantity of the operation rod 52 is small to make a dull speed change when the handle 26 is rotated for a specified angle, and when pulling quantity to the handle 26 is large, that is in traveling forward at high speed, the speed change becomes sharp to provide excellent operation feeling of the handle 26.
