SOLUTION: As for each light beam L emitted from a light source part 100, the interval between adjacent light beams is reduced by a reduction system anamorphic prism 900. The deflection scanning of each light beam L is performed by each reflecting surface 332 of the polygon mirror 330. By a magnification system anamorphic prism 950, the interval between the light beams is returned to the interval before being made incident on the reduction system anamorphic prism 900. Each light beam L is made incident on a first fθlens 400 and a second fθlens 500, and is converged. Each light beam L emitted from the second fθlens 500 is scanned in the main scanning direction in the state where it is guided to third fθlenses 600A-600D, and converged as a dot image on each photoreceptor drums 20A-20D.
