A sealing medium is used to fill the openings (12) on one side of a circuit board (1) being moved through a processing station. The sealing medium is removed from the other side of board by a scraper. The feed of the circuit board on its conveying path (22) is controllable. A sealing medium dispenser can be displaced vertically relative to the conveying path. A squeegee is movable transversely to the conveying path and is arranged downstream of the scraper.
