PURPOSE: A method and system for compensating a user who visits a web site is provided to induce the user to visit a predetermined web site by compensating the user visiting to the web site. CONSTITUTION: If a member user terminates a web surfing, a created log file is transmitted from a member user terminal to a main server by a log file transmitting program, and the main server receives the log file created from a member company visited by the member user(S10). If a log file is transmitted in a member user terminal, a receiving program of the main server receives the log file, and it is judged whether the owner of the transmitted log file is the member user(S20). If the owner of the transmitted log file is the member user, a control unit extracts only log files having a member URL out of the received log file(S30). A log file processing unit adds the number of URLs of the member store in the log file of each member user, and the URLs of the member store are classified and added according to compensation payments(S40). The log file processing unit calculates the total compensation payment to be paid to the member user according to the number of URLs of the added member company and the corresponding compensation payment(S50). The control unit informs the total compensation payment to the corresponding member user through a member user terminal, and draws a compensation payment from a compensation database and pays to the corresponding member user(S60).
