The stored anatomical image is prefiltered by an anisotropic filter (2.1). The prefiltered image is conditioned by computing the temperature gradient vector flow (GVF) using gradient vector flow evaluator (3.2). The contour of the displayed organ is extracted by automatic segmentation of the selected regions in image according to contour of prefiltered temperature gradient image. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) Anatomical images treating apparatus; (b) Automatic analyzing and determination method of time/intensity curves of anatomical grey scale images; (c) A software for filtering and analyzing time/intensity curves obtained by anatomical images.
