REMOVABLE STENT FOR LUMEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable stent to be transplanted into the lumen of a human body. SOLUTION: This stent is formed of a soft and flexible filament having an outer surface part. An outside biologically adsorbptive/biologically degradable coating is provided on the outer surface part of the filament to impart rigidity to the filament. This coating is softened in an in-vivo environment by absorption and/or decomposition, so that the stent can be easily passed and removed from the lumen as a softened filament through a normal flow of the body fluid flowing in the lumen or by manual removal after the lapse of a prescribed time.
