PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having large degree of freedoms of a disposing state of each unit and a small restriction in its installation. SOLUTION: The printer comprises at least a drive means for driving a printing unit in a sectional drive type, and a direction changing means for changing a web feeding direction to arrange the disposing state of all the units including the printing unit in a predetermined disposing state. |
