PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gait helping tool full of safety for enabling a sick person or an aged person with a weak lower body or the like to move at ease without easily getting tired. SOLUTION: This tool is provided with a freely movable body 2 having a moving means such as caster 12 on a lower part and a space on a center part, and a sitting part 4 mounted on the upper part of the body 2 and equipped with an annular holding part 32. The sitting part 4 is provided with a hip receiving seat 50 for sitting with feet on both sides, a front surface holding part such as a horizontal pipe 36 positioned in front of the hip receiving seat 50 for receiving the abdominal part of a sitting person and a backrest part 46 separably provided on the rear part of the hip receiving seat 50. The upper end of the backrest part 46 is fixed to the holding part 32, and the backrest part 46 of the holding part 32 is formed openably at an end part or in the middle. |
