PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently recovering toxic chemicals, such as dioxin, in leaching water of soil, incineration ash or waste incineration plant. SOLUTION: A dioxin adsorbent is sprayed to the leaching water of soil, incineration ash or waste incineration plant contaminated with the dioxin, etc., and is well mixed with the leaching water of soil, incineration ash or waste incineration plant, by which the dioxin is adsorbed. Finding is made that the use of magnets, active carbon bonded to iron or the like is effective as such adsorbent.
