PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion coating method and device capable of attaining excellent coating finish free from coating deffects due to a dried coating material at the coating position even in the case of making a thin film from a medium/high viscous coating liquid and applying the coating liquid at a high speed or in applying the coating liquid which is easily dried, and capable of reducing the entrainment of air and free from the coating ununiformity and the coating omission. SOLUTION: In the extrusion coating method for simultaneously applying >=2 coating liquids on a belt like supporting body continuously travelling from the upstream side toward the down stream side, the coating is carried out by removing at least a part of the coating liquid for the undermost layer nearest the supporting body in >=2 coating liquids.
