PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous moving robot extremely effective in the management of use by making a rechargeable state by autonomous movement to an installation position of a charging device, avoiding a problem caused by battery dead, releasing a user from charging work, and using the robot without being conscious of charging. SOLUTION: In this autonomous moving robot device 1, a device main body is moved to an installation position of a battery charging device 2 by specifying a location of the battery charting device 2 installed in a different place. The robot device 1 is made in the rechargeable state by connecting charging terminals to each other after the device main body is moved to a place of the battery charging device 2.
