PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rice porridge without losing taste on cooking the rice porridge in a rice cooker to which a function for cooking leftover rice as the rice porridge is added. SOLUTION: Time from starting rice cooking to finishing the rice porridge is displayed when cooking the rice porridge. Or, a voice alarm is set at a transition from the time of boiling water or after boiling for a predetermined period to subsequent aging and residual time of aging period is displayed during aging. Thus the tasty rice porridge is obtained without missing hot timing.
