The method of delayed maximal protection with minimum voltage cut-off belongs to the field of protecting electroenergetic plant systems by means of relays. The present invention consists in that the shortcircuit currents are instantaneously and beforehand removed by the current relays of the delayed maximal protection (1RTp), provided with a minimum voltage cut-off (U min RS, U min ST, 1 RI). The element of novelty consists in that the shortcircuit condition is determined by simultaneously surveying the current and voltage variation at the place where the shortcircuit occurred.
