PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality color image without causing deterioration of image, e.g. banding, or cost increase at the time of reciprocal printing. SOLUTION: The ink jet recorder 20 recording on a recording medium 70 by ejecting dots of a plurality of colors of ink liquid drop from a recording head comprises means 21 for controlling the shift of hitting of ink liquid drops of other colors from an ink liquid drop of reference color in the main scanning direction to be smaller when an image is formed by ejecting ink liquid drops while reciprocating the recording head ejecting ink liquid drops as compared with that when an image is formed by ejecting ink liquid drops while moving the recording head in one direction. |
