PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a power supply for driving a head by reducing power consumption in a head driver transistor thereby driving the head efficiently. SOLUTION: When a head driver transistor 33 is turned on, a drive current i flows from a power supply 34 for driving a head to drive a head coil 59. When the head driver transistor 33 is turned off, a voltage 90 V generated by an electromotive force induced in the head coil 59 is inputted to a constant voltage drop circuit 2. A Zener diode 2b in the constant voltage drop circuit 2 steps down that voltage to 55 V and a power corresponding to remaining 35 V is returned back to the power supply 34 for driving the head and reused.
