PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor for changing a light passage and an endoscope allowing an operator to observe the inner space of a narrow device, etc., in a required direction by smoothly inserting the adaptor and the endoscope into the inner space. SOLUTION: A direct side view adaptor 10 is attached to the head part 1 of the endoscope. The light forming the image of an object located in the direct view direction F is made to pass through an opening 10c to be guided to the upper half of an object lens 13, and the light penetrating the upper half of the object lens 13 is made to form an image on an imaging element 14. The light forming the image of the object located in the side view direction S is made to reflect on a mirror 11 to be guided to the object lens 13, and the light transmitting the lower half of the object lens 13 is made to form an image on the image pick-up element 14. Therefore, images in the direct view direction F and in the side view direction S can be picked up at the same time.
